ROLE AND SCOPE:
Directs and supervises drilling engineering activities on drilling rigs and in office. Plans and develops drilling and work-over programmes for Supervisor/Management approval. Supervises the implementation of well programmes to ensure adherence to contracts terms and conditions. Checks and reviews AFE and optimisation of expenditure to achieve cost effectiveness. Supervises the test results during the completion and evaluation stages and amends testing procedures accordingly. Evaluates services companies performance and recommends adequate remedial actions. Evaluates technically, well design for development and exploration wells.
