Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Minimum of 10 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry as a master marine vessel and jack-up rig barge mover (All kinds of rigs/barges). Should have good experience in working on floating derrick pipe laying barges.
Should possess excellent communication, presentation, influencing, co-ordination and behavioural skills, be fluent in English and have good computer literacy. Should be competent in utilising standard engineering practices as used in the industry.
Job Purpose/Responsibilities
To provide engineering Excellency to various projects also communicate and coordinate with project marine advisors, and study/review all project related marine documents. Also to evaluate all marine spread tenders.
Responsible for studying and reviewing all anchor patterns before ADMA marine final approval. Responsible for carrying out initial inspection for project spread. Also inspecting all cargo barges before sailing and before MWS final approval.
To Carryout jack-up moves when required, also follow-up all ADMA fields’ entry permits approval. Responsible for inspection all barge mooring/towing equipments, as well as follow-up validation and renew of all barges and spread certificates.
Reporting direct to the Division manager, the Marine Advisor has a key and high profile role in ensuring the Division delivers its part in ADMA’s ongoing success.
