Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Proven Oil & Gas Process Control & Instrumentation design experience (5 – 10 yrs) for an Operator of upstream offshore/onshore O & G production and processing facilities. Experience with Arabian Gulf or similar environment is expected. Shall possess high level skills in C & I design and engineering fundamentals for project implementation and act as technical authority and design support for pan-company projects.  Must be familiar with systems design in accordance with Company/Int’l Engineering and HSE Codes / Standards and Practices. In particular covering both hazardous and non-hazardous area installations with an accent on safety integrity, availability & reliability.

Should be able to work within a friendly team environment and possess excellent communication, presentation, influencing and behavioural skills. Fluency in English and good computer literacy are essential. Should be competent in utilising related C & I software applications as used in the industry.

Job Purpose/Responsibilities

To provide Control and Instrumentation Discipline technical services for Pan–Company support of Projects for the immediate and long-term plans for future O & G production and act as technical authority for related engineering activities. To lead in the development and application of Company standardization programme. To provide direction, decisions and leadership to engineering peers for project implementation to realize development opportunities.   Execute work seamlessly within the C & E Team of the Discipline Engineering Division, within the Projects & Engineering Business Unit. This BU is accountable for executing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of upstream projects.

To co-ordinate with Company Divisions and Assets to support investigation of operational or business development opportunities / Standardisation / KPI’s etc.

To participate in the development of Company knowledge sharing networks to promote discipline excellence.
