Knowledge, Skills & Experience
10+ years experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry on engineering & project management activities on a wide range of projects across all stages, preferably with both operators and contractors.
At least 5 years experience in cost estimating and/or bid preparation activities in a hands-on role, utilising current industry best-practice methodologies.
Should possess excellent communication, presentation, influencing and behavioural skills, be fluent in English and have good computer literacy. Should have experience and be competent in utilising cost risk analysis software.
Job Purpose/Responsibilities
To contribute to the provision of an effective and reliable cost estimating service to ADMA-OPCO.
Working from within the Projects & Engineering Business Unit, responsible for executing ADMA’s multi-billion dollar portfolio of projects, the cost estimating engineer will work as part of an important team providing estimates, managing the cost database, providing life cycle costing and supporting bid reviews and contract negotiations.
Reporting to the Cost Estimating Team Leader, the post-holder has an important role in ensuring that ADMA’s business objectives are met through the accurate compilation of estimates, budgets and associated cost information in a difficult external environment.
