Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Minimum 6 years related experience, with at least 3 years in contracts administration and management.

Must have sound knowledge of Drilling / Workover Rig Operations and Services and other Petrochemical and Offshore Oil and Gas aspects.

Must have good knowledge and experience in Directional Drilling services, MWD / LWD technologies and all related technologies and techniques.

Should possess excellent communication and behavioral skills.

Must be fluent in English Language. Must have good computer literacy.

Job Purpose/Responsibilities

To be a key member of Drilling Div. Contracts Section. This section is accountable for:

To be effectively specialized in Directional Drilling Services and MWD / LWD services to be able to direct and supervise the contract with the service providers.

Effectively administers and supervises contracts including the Directional Drilling contracts and provides full support in the service to all operation and company’s different discipline teams.

Understands with good commands steerable and rotary steerable industry, its make, function, BHA components selection and function, assessment and evaluation of the tools, etc.

Understands with good commands the technologies used in association with directional services and its operation, assessment, evaluation and recommendations e.g. Whipstock sidetracking system, Gyro multi and single shot and face orientation, Gamma ray survey, etc

Understands with good commands the different computer softwares used in directional drilling industry eg Torque and Drag  modeling and vibration monitoring and analysis , well path projection, BHA analysis and optimization, survey calculations and evaluation, well to well clearance calculation, ellipse of uncertainty measurement, etc

Carry out KPI’S implementation of Directional Drilling contracts and evaluation of the directional drilling contractors.

Plan and develop contract requisitions for required services and amendments of existing contracts.

Provides contractual follow up execution of Drilling Contracts for proper implementation as per company’s approved policy/standards.

Provides supporting services to all concerned teams within the organization in interpretation of contracts terms and conditions.

Participate / coordinate prequalification evaluations for new service providers or new services.

Participate in preparation of tenders scope of work, requirements & Tech Eval.

Participate in performance evaluation of Contractors.

Coordinate implementation of Contracts payment terms with Finance Division.

Provides advices on Drilling Services to Drilling management on Contracts terms and implementation strategy.
