Knowledge, Skills & Experience

7 years of minimum experience in Civil design & engineering out of which minimum 4years in the area of onshore facilities for oil and gas industry & preferably minimum 3 yrs experience in an operating oil and gas company. Should have good communication and presentation skill and good computer literacy.  Proficiency in using STADD. PRO software. Good knowledge of relevant codes & standards.

Job Purpose/Responsibilities

Provide civil engineering support to project divisions of the Company for new and Brown field projects. Carry out engineering design & calculation to meet functional, operational & safety requirement for various projects. Manage interface related to civil engineering with other division of the company

Ensure implementation of company civil standards, codes & practices across all company projects & approve deviations from standard practices on civil engineering issues as applicable. Assist in preparation maintenance & update of Company civil Standards. Assist in preparation, maintenance and update of weight reports, analysis model and files

Provide civil engineering support in specific areas like carrying out geotechnical investigations, cost estimates etc. Carry out integrity assessment studies on existing civil structures. Provide inputs for implementation integrity of Civil facilities. Participate in development of national civil graduates under company’s competency assurance management system scheme
