Knowledge, Skills & Experience

10 years of minimum experience in Civil design & engineering  out of which minimum 5 years in the area of onshore facilities for oil and gas and minimum 3 years in supervisory role. It is preferable to have minimum 3 yrs experience in an operating oil and gas company. Should have good communication and presentation skill and good computer literacy. Proficient in STAAD.PRO and other civil design engineering software. Excellent knowledge of relevant codes & standards.

Job Purpose/Responsibilities

Lead a team of civil engineers in the civil engineering section. Report to team leader. Provide support for all civil design and engineering activities in the Company in a Technical Authority role. Maintain awareness of all technical innovations & developments & carry out technology evaluation & selection for civil engineering applications in the company.

Ensure job quality and implementation of standards through technical audit of civil studies and modifications carried out by other divisions of the company

Prepare & update company standards. Review key documents. Responsible for weight reports, analysis model and files in a custodian role. Responsible for integrity assessment studies on existing civil structures for their enhanced life, and for additional facilities/modifications.

Responsible for managing interface related to civil engineering with other divisions of the company.
