Knowledge, Skills & Experience

5 years experience in reservoir engineering, of which at least 2 years in application of reservoir simulation studies and 1 year in supervisory capacity.  Very good knowledge of English.

Job Purpose/Responsibilities

Modifies, amends and runs reservoir simulation models / computer programmes to simulate hydro-carbons recovery schemes.  Conducts reservoir engineering in-house studies, updates data / information and recommends to Supervisor optimization of existing plans to maximize the economic recovery of hydro-carbons.  Provides technical assistance / advice to Petroleum / Reservoir Management Engineers / Geologists.  Conducts studies on new packages and reports findings with appropriate recommendations ( work covers all developed and undeveloped reservoirs).
