Knowledge, Skills & Experience
10 years experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry focusing on project management activities on a wide range of projects across all stages, preferably with both operators and contractors.
Should have a clear understanding on the resource constraints that impact project delivery of offshore upstream projects across all categories (people, logistics, contractors, equipment and facilities) and how to effectively identify, quantify and manage these.
Should possess excellent communication, presentation, influencing and behavioral skills, be fluent in English and have good computer literacy.
Job Purpose/Responsibilities
To provide Projects & Engineering Business Unit (BU), Divisional and Project Management with a resource management support service. This BU is accountable for executing a multi-billion portfolio of upstream projects. The Resource Management Team is responsible for the integrated planning across all the company’s project activities to ensure all resources are available and allocated properly to deliver its business goals. These include people, offshore marine equipment and accommodation, contractors and their facilities etc.
Reporting direct to the RMT Team Leader and communicating frequently with BU leadership, the Project Engineer has an important role in advising on effective management of all constrained resources that support project delivery. In liaison with Human Resources, he will also support staff recruitment and deployment for the BU.
